American Airlines Group Inc. (AAG) is a holding company, operating primarily through four subsidiaries American Airlines, Inc. (American), Envoy Aviation Group Inc. (Envoy), PSA Airlines, Inc. (PSA) and Piedmont Airlines, Inc. (Piedmont). AAG primarily is in the operation of a major network carrier, providing scheduled air transportation for passengers and cargo. Company operates over 6,700 flights per day to nearly 350 destinations in more than 50 countries with hubs in Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix and Washington, D.C. In 2017, AAG’s mainline and regional flights carried over 200 million passengers. As of December 2017, company had over 948 mainline aircrafts and are supported by its regional airline subsidiaries and third-party regional carriers, which operated an additional 597 regional aircrafts. AAG’s cargo division offers a wide range of freight and mail services, with facilities and interline connections available across the globe.

For the fiscal year ended December 2017, company reported total operating revenues of $42.2 billion, an increase of $2.0 billion, or 5.0%, as compared to 2016. Notably, AAG’s mainline and regional passenger revenues were $36.1 billion, an increase of $1.6 billion, or 4.5%, as compared to 2016. Revenue growth in mainline and regional passenger revenues was due to a 3.2% year-over-year increase in consolidated yields driven by strong demand.
