Ryder System, Inc. (Ryder) offers transportation and supply chain management solutions. Company’s business is classified into three segments: Fleet Management Solutions (FMS), Dedicated Transportation Solutions (DTS) and Supply Chain Solutions (SCS). FMS segment provides full service leasing and leasing with flexible maintenance options, commercial rental, and contract or transactional maintenance services of trucks, tractors and trailers to customers principally in the U.S., Canada and the U.K. Company’s DTS segment offers vehicles and drivers as part of a dedicated transportation solution in the U.S. SCS segment provides comprehensive supply chain solutions including distribution and transportation services in North America and Singapore.

For the fiscal year ended December 2017, Ryder’s revenue increased 8% to $7.3 billion, in comparison with the previous year revenue. Revenue growth was primarily due to operating revenue and increased subcontracted transportation passed through to customers, reflecting new business and higher volumes, as well as higher fuel costs passed through to customers.
