Texas Instruments Incorporated (TII) designs and makes semiconductors that it sells to electronics designers and manufacturers all over the world. The company has design, manufacturing or sales operations in more than 30 countries. TII primarily operates through two business segments: Analog and Embedded Processing.

Company’s analog segment includes three product lines: Power, Signal Chain and High Volume. TII’s power products are designed to manage power requirements across different voltage levels using battery management solutions, portable components, power supply controls, point-of-load products, switches and interfaces, integrated protection devices, high-voltage products, and mobile lighting and display products. Embedded processing segment includes two product lines such as connected microcontrollers and processors.

For the fiscal year ended December 2017, company’s revenues increased by $1.59 billion, or 12% to $14.96 billion, compared to previous year revenue. Revenue growth was primarily due to higher revenue from analog and embedded processing business segments.
