V. F. Corporation (VFC) is engaged in the design, production, procurement, marketing and distribution of branded lifestyle apparel, footwear and related products. The company markets its products to consumers shopping in specialty stores, department stores, national chains, mass merchants and its own direct-to-consumer operations, which include VF-operated stores, concession retail stores and e-commerce sites. VFC sells its products in international markets through licensees, agents, distributors and independently-operated partnership stores.

For the fiscal year ended December 2017, company recorded the revenues of $11.8 billion, an increase of $785 million, or 7.1%, from revenues of $11.0 billion in fiscal 2017. This growth was primarily driven by an increase in the Outdoor & Action Sports coalition and continued strength in its direct-to-consumer and international businesses. Revenue increase was also attributable to growth in the Imagewear coalition, which included a $247.2 million contribution from the Williamson-Dickie acquisition, which closed in October 2017.
